Course Outline

Discover the art of fusing glass and explore a variety of techniques to create your own designs in glass. You will learn the fundamentals of glass cutting, assembly, inclusions, kiln firing and slumping under the expert guidance of the Glass Hub Tutors. A great introduction for beginners or artists working in other mediums who would like to experiment with this art form.

Experience: No experience with glass is required for this course.

Cool Down

For all Courses. Due to the cooling down processes involved with all glassmaking it is not possible for students to take work home on the day it is made. Work needs to cool down slowly in our kilns and may be collected at a later time by arrangement or carefully packaged and posted to you for £20 (Our cost, no more).

Add a lunch!

A delicious buffet lunch is available at £10 per person per day. A typical lunch consists of a selection of sandwiches, pies, wraps, salads and a cake. All locally sourced and delivered from Farleigh Road Farm Shop. We offer vegetarian lunch options on request. Unfortunately we are unable to offer other dietary requirements or allergies at present.

To book a lunch there will be an option to add lunches to your cart before you checkout online and remember to adjust the quanitity if you would like lunch for more than one day.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included with our courses, however we do provide a list of accommodation in the area. You can also search using google and sites such as airbnb. You can also search for accommodation in nearby places like Bradford on Avon, Bath and Frome too.
