On this fantastic introductory weekend of glassblowing you will learn how to gather, form and blow hot molten glass straight from the furnace. With your own choice of colour, you will proceed to blow a glass sphere, a paperweight, and a vase. The first day is quick-paced as we focus on hands-on techniques, as well as enjoyment of this fascinating material.

On the second day we continue to gain expertise in blowing techniques, as we explore some further shapes and skills in the bench, including a tumbler, a bowl and a plate! Use your own creativity to design the pattern and colours of your pieces, and keep an open mind for the final result!

The Glass Hub team are all professional artists and tutors with many years experience. Although we do not guarantee a particular tutor for the course you can be sure that each tutor will be highly qualified and experienced.
